形態特徵

Stems twining, filiform, glabrous, yellowish.
Flowers 2–2.5 mm long, in compact clusters, white, very short-pedicelled; calyx ca. as long as Corolla tube, lobes 5, broadly elliptic to orbicular, obtuse; corolla ca. 2 mm long, short-campanulate, 5-lobed, lobes slightly shorter or equalling tube, broadly elliptic, apex rounded, scales shorter than tube, deeply bifid; stamens exserted, shorter than corolla lobes, anthers ovoid; ovary ellipsoid, styles 2, slender, shorter than ovary, stigmas capitate.
Capsules depressed-globose or somewhat obpyriform, with large interstylar opening, pericarp thin, not circumscissile, longer than corolla, 3–4 mm broad, locules 2, each with 2 broadly ovoid seeds, 1.5 mm long, yellowish brown, smooth.

分布

台灣 : at low elevations throughout the island.
世界 : Europe, eastern and southern Asia to Australia.
